The god of war, the mighty Mars,
His rage and power shook the stars.
A warrior fierce, with sword in hand,
He fought for glory, to rule the land.

But fate had other plans in store,
For Mars, the god of war, no more.
His battles ended, his strength did wane,
As death approached, he felt the pain.

The skies turned dark, the winds did howl,
As Mars, the god, let out a final growl.
His sword fell from his lifeless hand,
And his body sank into the sand.

The armies wept, the heavens cried,
As Mars, the god of war, had died.
His legacy, a lasting flame,
A warrior's spirit, forever the same.

The gods above, with solemn grace,
Lamented the loss of Mars' fierce face.
But they knew his spirit would endure,
A warrior's heart, forever pure.

So let us honor Mars, the god of war,
And his battles fought, forevermore.
For though he may have met his end,
His spirit lives on, a true friend.

May his legend never fade away,
And his memory live on to this day.
For Mars, the god of war, may be gone,
But his spirit and legacy will live on.
