Afa. Crema solare. Ombrelloni a fiori. Ciabatte di gomma. Ora esci dall'acqua! Oggi c'è vento. Là, un aeroplano! Gabbiani. Granelli fra le dita. Perle d'acqua sulla pelle. E poi un gelato al limone. Il tormentone...

Le immagini di questa serie sono state collezionate durante le vacanze di famiglia, trascorse nell’estate 2022 fra le spiagge venete e le scogliere croate.

Come una spettatrice esterna ho passato ore ad osservare le mie figlie godersi quei giorni al mare, assaporandosi occasioni di spensierata vivacità e concedendosi momenti di gentile indolenza. 

Una meravigliosa macchina del tempo, che mi ha portato immediatamente laggiù, dove io ero bambina e le estati duravano un'eternità. 

Tempo sospeso.

The images in this series were collected during a family vacation spent in the summer of 2022 between Venetian beaches and Croatian cliffs.

Like an outside spectator, I spent hours watching my daughters enjoying those days at the beach, savoring opportunities for carefree vivacity and indulging in moments of sweet indolence.

A wonderful time machine that immediately took me there, where I was a child and summers lasted an eternity.

Time suspended.
