However, despite Brooklyn's diverse population, the market seems to be overlooking the incredible talents of its people. It's time for the cocktail industry to step up and recognize the potential of this vibrant community. By tapping into the rich history and culture of cocktails, businesses can not only elevate their clientele but also educate those who are new to the world of mixology.

The purpose of this magazine is to entertain the reader by informing them about the different cocktails, mixologists, and bars around the vast bar scene in Brooklyn, the hub of mixology trends. This publication doesn’t only have to target the community surrounding Brooklyn, but it will also reach any consumer who is looking to impress guests, and make some show stopping cocktails. The content will include in-depth interviews with top mixologists, reviews of new and upcoming bars, or exclusive recipes for signature cocktails.
BRANDING
The style is modern and sophisticated, with pops of color in funky photography, illustration, and typography. Images will incorporate illustrations over photography, emphasizing the ingredients in the drink.​​​​​​​
STRATEGY
Through competitive research I determined the readership and content offerings of other publications in the cocktail news industry. Through this process, I gained valuable insights into the state of the industry, which I discovered is expanding rapidly with the emergence of new readership demographics. Upon further analysis, I identified a previously overlooked gap in the market that presented a unique opportunity to serve an underserved audience. Drawing on my research and insights, I took decisive action to develop and implement a strategy to fill this gap and better serve this growing and dynamic industry.
