Experimenting with screen printing, I wanted to print on an unconventional surface, which is why I chose tiles. I treated this as revamping street signs to make it more eye catching. The first edition signs, " यहाँ मूतना मन है " (peeing here is not allowed), addresses public urination.
The aesthetic is inspired by the art seen on Indian trucks to match and not let the signs seem out of place on the streets. The material is also durable for the outdoors.
