A few years ago I handled the book design for the graphic novel, The Cities Beneath by Jai Undurti (Author), Fabian Stoltz (Illustrator). Here are some of the spreads I worked on.

I handled the book design, including some artwork for the inner non story pages.
Original Cover by Fabian Stolz
World War I. An Indian soldier discovers a mysterious underworld beneath the death-filled battlefields of northern France. Desperate to return home, he flees the war through this network of tunnels. On his track is a British Major, who has vowed to hunt down the deserter. A chase develops, and the mysteries of the world beneath the world are revealed.

The story is a tribute to “pulp” adventure novels as well as the legends of the “hollow earth”. Writer Jai Undurti puts together a complex myth-laden script while artist Fabian Stoltz conjures up memorable and striking images.
Modified Cover by myself.
The typography was straight forward.
Unfortunately had to make modifications to Fabian's actual art to make it acceptable by Indian Censors.
Original illustration created by myself for this spread, including a variant of the identity.

Game designed for the back cover using assets from Fabian's original art as well as artwork I created myself.
