Foi-me pedido para criar uma imagem para ser utilizada para um seminário da area da adoção que vai ocorrer no final de maio deste ano, em vez de recorrer a banco de imagems para selecionar uma imagem para trabalhar e depois adaptar aos suportes necessários, optei por criar uma imagem gráfica que possa ser utilizada pelo grupo de trabalho no futuro. Comecei por estabelecer o que pretendia que a imagem transmitisse e os conceitos que lhe estariam subjacentes:

 

- Assexuada - A imagem não poderia ter conotação de sexo ou raça

- Familia - A imagem teria de transparecer os laços afetivos e familiares

- Integração - A imagem deveria mostrar a integração de um elemento exterior

- Esperança - A imagem deveria transparecer um sentimento de "esperança num futuro melhor"

 

Depois de feitos alguns desenhos manualmente, cheguei a dois conceitos finais que serão apresentados hoje a area, a cor escolhida para ambos foi o verde ("esperança")  no entanto poderá ser mudada no futuro.

I was recently asked to create an image for an Adoption seminar that is going to occur in the end of may. Instead of going through the process of selecting images from an image database, working them and then creating a layout that would be suitable I decided to create a graphic element that could be used to identify this specific work group. So, I laied the foundations for the work by establishing what I wanted the image to transpire to the viewer. To be able to get there I had to set guidelines ....

 

- Gender free - The image can't carry any connotations of gender or race

- Family - Image has to relay affection and family bonds

- Integration - The image has to relay the sense bringing something from the outside going inside

- Hope - The image has to somehow inspire "hope" in the future

 

So after a few sketches I am down to two which will be presented to the area for decision today, the color chosen was green (hope) but it may change in the future.
