Inspiration
Inspired by the beautiful city of Cappadocia, Turkey- this textile collection designed for INCA % Co. story tells the evolution of Cappadocia and how it was created. Cappadocia is both inspired by Turkish motifs and Persian motifs too. Putting everything into consideration when designing this textile collection from transportation method, to churches to the overall landscape look and feel of the city.
The color palette is inspired by the city's sandy- cave look and feel contrasting it with black outlines.
A double approach, between tradition & modernity, to savor the grandness of this civilization, combined to display a wide range of motifs and inspired drawings from the Cappadocia civilization.
This superb collection takes us on a journey through a dreamy landscape of a vast Cappadocia where fairy chimneys, hot air balloons, influenced Persian- Turkish motifs and underground caves and churches are reflected on velvet prints, which pays tribute to the authentic history of Cappadocia.
