Say Their Names was completed during a project whilst studying for my BA (Hons) in Digital Media Design. I was tasked to create a piece of work under Emotive Experience Design with this I chose Black Lives Matter as this subject brings up different emotions for different people. I wanted to produce a piece that is relevant but also hard-hitting, and once I heard the theme of Emotive Experience Design, I knew that I wanted to produce a piece around the Black Lives Matter movement which initially began in 2014 and the Say Their Names section of this project came from Season 13 of RuPaul’s Drag Race with Symone’s Runway on episode 13.
