The best things in life come when you least expect them to and this project was no different. Seed has been planted during one of the random conversations related to streetwear in these days and LEGO Streetwear Figurines project executed by Simeon Georgiev not so long ago. Then I thought, yeah.. it can be easily done in a different way. I have followed some of the current fashion trends to create a series of customized minifigs as a little surprise for polish streetwear brand Prosto and feature in of the most popular polish hip hop groups Sokol i Marysia Starosta with DJ and producer Steez83.
There’s a bit of kid in everyone of us, working on this project gave me unlimited levels of fun and chance to try totally new software with new render engine. The biggest dilemma I have had during the process was if Minifigs should remain stiff and the same as it is in real world or keep more cartoony movies. Finally I’ve decided to leave them in their original poses just like we remember LEGO® from back in the days, before internet.
