Norwegian Olympiad in Astronomy and Astrophysics
I made this logo for the Norwegian Olympiad in Astronomy and Astrophysics, an annual competition for students in high school. The winner of the national contest will proceed to the international contest.
The client wanted the logo to have something Norwegian or nordic about it, so the logo is inspired by the northern night sky.

Logo mark:
The logo mark is based on the constellation Ursa Minor (Little Bear), which hosts the North Star (Polaris). Ursa Minor also happens to resemble the shape of Norway.
Colors:
The colors are from the flag of Norway.
