I lead the UX on this project with Alex Lambert facilitating the kick off workshop in Doha. The UI was led by Dan Newman, with Maxim Blackler, Matt Homer and some additional help from Natan Nikolič.

And the development was led by Michael Lake

 

Since the very beginning of this project I worked very close with Michael Lake (the lead developer).

The app was to deliver a mix of multi-media content with real-time updating stories and live feeds. A complex project due to requiring two versions of the app:  English (LTR); and Arabic version (RTL). A system had to be created so both apps could deliver the same experience with reversed UI and their own branding. After much testing, prototyping and even more iterations, a common solution was created for both.
