I was contacted by The Woo Agency in LA quite out of the blue. To say this was urgent was an understatement! Microsoft were about to unveil the new Internet Explorer 9 in Austin for SXSW and they needed an event that was to be the most talked about party at the South by Southwest Festival. Simple!
The 20,000-square-foot facility had soaring projection surfaces that illuminated a fantastical animated forest. Lounge spaces followed the fantasy motif, with grassy knolls, glowing green cafe tables and whimsical pebble chairs. At the 11pm IE9 Worldwide launch, the black and white forest walls exploded in a crescendo of vibrant colour representing IE9's "More Beautiful Web" platform. The 1800 invited guests thought it was magic!

Dubbed "the party of the festival" by Austin American-Statesman columnist Michael Barnes.
