My submission for the Endless Engines challenge. It's my first animation and although I was tight on the deadline and rushed a few things, I had a lot of fun doing this. The idea that I wanted to convey was that in the far future the Voyager 1 space probe has its first encounter with an alien civilization at the edges of the galaxy. Ancient artifacts are used as a mean for interstellar travel.
