Organization
A series of menus for a Middle Eastern restaurant operating out of two locations. They hand-make their own menu items, including falafel, hummus, baba ganoush, pita and iced mint tea.
Challenge
The design direction was to create a comfortable and high-class Middle Eastern feel. The store branding was to be subtle and all content to be presented in both English and Chinese.
Solution
I wanted to let the fantastic food speak for itself, so I choose to span the imagery across most of the pages. A small label in the bottom corner identifies the featured dish on each spread, and the text is all fit neatly into the single columns. A subtle floral pattern sits behind the text for added elegance.
