When the User Experience inspires the Industrial Design what ensues is magical.

For HTC, the Windows Phone 8X and 8S launch represented a new approach to industrial design - the challenge they took up was how to create a physical object that was in complete harmony with the digital on-screen user experience. Taking inspiration from the Windows Phone UX, they began with that color; that shape; that form - and from there, extended the language to material, to feel, to weight, to interactive connectivity. And created new processes to achieve the clean line/honest materiality design that was so uniquely HTC and so iconically Windows.
