BRAIN TRAUMA FOUNDATION | Magazine Ad Design

The goal for this project was to create a magazine ad for the Brain Trauma Foundation, with the intention of discouraging texting while driving. Our target audience was young adults, and my approach was to consider how often times, the current youth tend to be less responsive to serious ads due to the abundance of content they are exposed to daily.

To grab the attention of this particular demographic, I decided to take a humorous and slightly dark approach, and envisioned a retro car ad aesthetic. Once I came up with the perfect headline, the rest of the composition fell into place naturally. The final product was an eye-catching ad for young people to take action against distracted driving.
