The design for the onefoot website was based on the corporate identity i had already created. Lambros asked for a quadrilingual website, which would be different and original, with a responsive design, as well as recognizable.
Following the principles of the brand, but also emphasizing on the homogeneity on all the sections, the aesthetics of the corporate identity was maintained by using a specific font and the colour codes of white and black, while, at the same time, with the use of css3, we applied a custom font on all the texts.
On the first page, small informative phrases on snails appear randomly, exactly like it appears on the corporate communication. With the text running on a 3-column layout, so as to give out the feel of a newspaper to the reader, and beautiful full-frame photographs on each section, we achieved a tasteful, elegant and atmospheric look and feel. We divided the website on two basic categories: the “menu me!”, in which we included elements referring to the company (e.g. farms, class etc.) and the “snail me!”, where general information on snails is communicated. In this way, the need of the client to contain a large amount of information contained on the website was met effectively and in a smart way, while, at the same time, it was kept minimal and elegant, while keeping it sufficiently informative.
