Eudossia is a bench for commercial districts inspired by the shape of a rigid heddle loom, device on which was based the development of the textile industry in the twefth century, first in Milan and then in nothern Italy.
The history of commerce is one of those cross-links connecting the peculiar features of an area with the ways and habits, creativity and ingenuity with which its enviroment is lived and experienced.
Eudossia represent a loom weaving its cloth (or viceversa)
It's also the most chaotic of Italo Calvino's "invisible cities", in search of a divine order in its chaos of humanity (or viceversa)
Eudossia was presented at the Milan Design Week 2013 as one of the winner project of the competition "decò ter - design and competitiveness for the service sector".
