"Crystal Echoes"

Final project for my Intro to Jewelry class.  The piece had to include a bronze cast element.  I chose to do a combination of splash casting and broom casting where the straw bundle is submerged right below the surface of the water so the resulting casting is more rounded than a normal broom casting.  There are three separate pieces of cast bronze soldered together to create the centerpiece.  I also used wire construction to fabricate the chain.  Amethyst is set in the broom casting.
