In 1922 during the reign of Kabaka Daudi Chwa, the Twekobe was built. Twekobe is a luganda word to mean working together and the castle was a union of the 52 clans making up Buganda kingdom by then. It is part of the Lubiri Palace Complex. The castle was severely damaged during the reign of President A. M. Obote in 1966 as it was attacked on his orders. This damage lasted for over 35years until its renovation prior to current Kabaka Mutebi II's wedding in 1999. I've admired the architectural design and thus to make this artwork.
