The existing “Forrest Gump” cover has a white background and uses serif font. Redesign uses 1970s font and muddied colors. Much of the story occurs in this time period. Front cover depicts different stages of Forrest’s life: childhood, the start of Bubba Gump, his run across the USA, and his time serving in the Vietnam War. Back cover includes summary and imagery of Forrest running and the Bubba Gump hat.
