Jane Apparel is a fictional brand of clothing and accessories. The Spring/Summer 2014 collection draws inspiration from jungle foliage, desert landscapes, tropical fruit, and post-modern art. The name, Jane, comes from my own middle name and from there I started to develop an identity for who I thought this young woman Jane could be. She has a classic style, but also enjoys taking fashion-forward risks.
I designed and constructed both the blue pineapple circle clutch, as well as the nude envelope clutch. Each piece contains different colored neon vinyl, with gold finishes, and neon thread detailing. The t-shirt has neon thread detailing around the neckline, as well.
Overall, Jane is meant to emulate a fun, carefree style all while mixing with modern sophistication and simplicity.
