In the summer of 2013, my father gave me a huge collection of slides that dated back to his childhood and earlier. After spending much time going through them and seeing a variety of people and places I have never personally experienced, I found myself wishing to have a chance to be "in" the scenes depicted in the photographs. I projected various slides onto myself and interacted with them in the way I felt connected most with the type of photograph they were. As a result, I have created a set of "new" family photographs.
