Bollyfood is an Indian highway restaurant in Turkey that serves authentic Indian food.
They intend to take Indian cuisine to a global audience, give them a flavour of our culture, and a wide variety of delicious food. We, at Yali Art Lab sketched the complete gamut of design for Bollyfood, keeping in mind the fervour of Bollywood, Indian culture and love for its cuisine.
We have seamlessly woven essential concepts together to create the impression that the diners are indeed in an Indian restaurant. The Punjabi head scarf conjures up images of Indian Dhaba chefs and the peppiness of Bhangra dancing to Bhalle Bhalle music. Oversized glasses brings the Bollywood film masala with multi-colored lights flickering on them. The striking moustache of the Dhaba Chef extends a personal touch to the impeccable taste that they bring out.
To top it all off, the patterns and motifs reminiscent of rangoli connect everything back to the deep roots of Indian culture.
Indian colours are bright and feisty. Suffused across the design are a bunch of invigorating colours that set a lively mood. Magenta from the happy colours of Holi, gunmetal from the Indian highway roads, splash of tangy lemon yellow of famous Indian trucks and bright sky blue paint a beautiful picture of an everyday dining experience in India gazing at the highway sky.
