Relinquishment, A Love Letter to Myself - Video Art Final
ABC Statement:
This is a narrative video that is a love letter to myself. "Is what you hold, holding you?" I write this as an act of relinquishment. Releasing the self-created trophy I've made of myself and simply being. As I narrate and am the central subject of my piece, this is a commemoration as I let go of my need for control over past grief, shame, failures, and distant memories of people and experiences in which cannot be changed, attempting to find serenity within myself. The present is no better than now.
