Helmet Livery Design
Collaboration with German Karting Driver Laurenc Seifired creating helmet livery featuring a range of illustration representing his racing and motorsport career.
Sketch & Design Visuals
Starting with initial ideas and sketches of the helmets template featuring a bundle of different sections of paint and illustrations from all angles and sides, for example a large view of illustration on the back view of the helmet.
Initial sketches of template where graphics all located, such as back of helmet with a full area of illustration displayed, side view with graphic details with combination of illustration and colour.
Creating a accurate template using pen tool and every part evenly done with all separate sections ready to take place.
Process in this production is divided in two different sections which is Illustration produced digitally, high quality prints, formed onto the surface of the helmet. The grey areas is where the paint is going to be applied on.
Filling all in area of sketches.
Basic pen tool inking and outline.
Duplicate starting layer and produce different sections, for example shadows, colour, brightness.
Adding different of gradient colour tones with noise static texture.
Design Process
Final Template with all areas individually separated.
Reorganising all illustration.

Typography featured on top of the helmet. "Achieving Excellence" representing success of Laurencs racing career.
