In my photography I wish to tell of the strength and heroism of humanity. To capture beautiful moments that represent us all in our best light. 

I call this image "Coast guard". I arranged this shoot with the Local coastguard and my aim was to photograph the subject in his stride walking toward the sea. I wished to capture part of his reflection in the glossy wet sand to remind the viewer that he is risking losing himself. This required preparation in terms of time of day as we needed the tide to have just gone out. The rope was instrumental for the flow of the image and the narrative.
