The project was to recreate the DVD cover for a movie of your choosing. I chose the film "Above The Rim" since it is the 20th anniversary of the classic movie. If you haven't seen the movie, it is based on a promising high school basketball player trying to get a scholarship to continue his career at Georgetown while trying to dodge the pitfalls of the streets. Since it is a melodrama, I decided to go with a gritty dark look with reds mixed in to add to the intenseness of the cover.
