Another book by Jeannette Murueta, nutritionist and specialist on weight loss. The Heartbeat Diet introduces a breakthrough weight-loss strategy together with an innovative weight-loss tool, and a mini workout to help you lose weight until you become slim.
The cover image had to reference weight loss, dieting, heart, heartbeat, food, nutrition. Out of all that I came up with the central illustration piece: a set table with a plate resembling a scale, with number 60 and a pointer on top, which can be read as 60 seconds/minutes referencing time, and 60 being a weight goal in kilos for a lot of women.
The heart references go throughout the front and back color with the tiny red heart icons and heartbeat line blending with the title.
The cheerful color palette tops it all off to give an optimistic, can-do vibe.
