Silence is an idea created by humans as an obvious answer to 'what is the opposite of noise.'
However, by trying to find silence we destroy it, from the beating of our hearts to the breath we take all creates it's own noise. These books are my attempt at showing that by thinking or mentioning the word silence we destroy it, and the more we talk about it, the nosier silence becomes.
Each book is a different representation of silence:
The first book is compeletly void of all type and images, a completely silent book.

The second book is covered in noise on the outside showing that people can have hidden places they deem as silent however, by entering these places any silence hasto be broken and you must let a formof noise in.
The third and final is showing my journey through this project. I found that the more I thought about the meaning of silence, silence as a word was becoming more than just empty like it describes & the more noisey it becomes, the more silence loses it's meaning.
