In April 2022 I did a two week road trip through southern Portugal with my daughter and wife. Even though it was a family trip I was able to squeeze a few photo sessions in.
I was really fascinated by the beauty of Portugal's coasts, the delicious food, as well as the friendly locals. It won't be the last time that we visited this amazing country.
We first stopped in Sintra where we visited a few well known beaches. A big plus while traveling through Portugal in early April are the almost empty beaches for sunset, and completely empty ones for sunrise.
From Sintra we drove up north to the lovely seaside village of Baleal with its rough coast.
Followed by a few days in the algarve region. The most touristy part of Portugal.
Our last stop was is a lesser known region of Portugal, but definitely one of the more beautiful ones. The perfect spot to relax and enjoy the few remaining days.
