This project started like a Zen practice. The condition was only one: Patience. Then the 6 colors choice came out just wonderful. I just love what this thing turned out at the end.
The first one was GrinGreen, a simple cube extruded without taking any consideration. The fish eye lens made it even better.
PhiMag was next. In this one you can see an isometric view of this extruded golden number, with the dot matching for a couple of frames an intersection of the golden sections. Sweet.
Then PluBlu came. I decided that the focal point would be in the reflection of the big sphere. The empty space also played an important role here without including any straight lines.
Perhaps as an opposite of PhiMag? Yes, sir.
Purr was *this* close to became my favorite. In this case i wanted the purple have a dangerous value in order to force the audience to close their eyes a little to see the shapes while keeping mostly spirals to move the focal point here and there. I guarantee you'll watch this Purr more than once.
Later, this ultra beautiness was next, Worange. I love it so much. The idea began with a glass maze concept. The reflection and transparency made it look nice, but not awesome. Adding elements that you can see only in the reflections, and having those working perfectly with the rest was definitely the missing piece.
Can you guess the so-called elements?
Finally this monster was on: Ieroo.
Designing the structure was a long journey, the animation was even more. I wanted this sexy baby obey to one single focal point and also match the center of a golden spiral, WHILE having straight and curved lines of force pointing to that focal point.
Gammagamma was a great journey. I'm glad you made it this far. Thanks for your time and attention. If you're interested in the source files you can get them here.
Keep awesome internet people:)
