Redesigned the Queen of Hearts character by drawing on literary and film representations. The new character has hints of the old versions of the Queen of Hearts like her obsession with red. However, the new character carries a real heart on her septor and has a closer connection with chess than traditional cards. Her crown was created by bending two heart shapes and her back-piece creates a heart as well as a collar. The Queen of Hearts is made from sculpy, wire, newspaper, liquid acrylic, fabric, and hand-braided thread.
