DESIGNER MEMENTO

A memento is a part of a portfolio that is left with a potential employer after a interview/meeting, typically usedin advertising, design, photography and fine art. Memento can be anything from brochures, self-promotional flyers, creative packages with key portfolio elements, or printed
images. The goal of a memento is to help the interviewer/client to remember the candidate and his work. As a burgeoning designer, it is important that you begin to think about your personal creative identity in order to distinguish yourself from your peers. What makes you unique as a designer? Every designer over time will accumulate a set of values, principles and beliefs that inform their practice; these values, principles and beliefs in return also help construct the designer’s creative identity.
This project invites you to reflect on your creative identity as a graphic designer.
