Electric Compact Touring

CEPHEUS is a compact touring, which aims to redefine the role of the vehicle for users. The design creates a large-scale transitional space on the medium between the interior and exterior of the vehicle, providing users with a sense of comfort during travel. The period of stay can create an interactive relationship with the vehicle, so that the relationship between the two is no longer limited to driving, thereby increasing the value of the vehicle.

Intertidal Zone

The concept comes from the intertidal zone, the medium zone between two elements. The design hopes to subvert the traditional vehicle use situation, so that the car no longer just provides movement between two points, or is limited to activities inside the car, but can have behaviors or events in the medium zone between the inside and outside.

The focus of the design is to create a large-scale transition space between the inside and outside of the car. When the door is opened, this space can provide users with a rest, so that the vehicle and users can interact with each other during the long-distance travel.

Through the interactive application of a variety of software, the richness of the design process can be expanded. According to the attributes of each software, the most appropriate design process can be matched, so that the design process can be executed in a more efficient manner.

Design Process in Virtual Reality (Gravity Sketch)

With the aid of VR design software, the concept sketches have been made three-dimensional. Users draw the three-dimensional appearance of the object through the handle, and can immediately check the degree of surface undulations and human factors, so that the concept can be realized and reviewed immediately.
