A concept of intelligent monkies has been done in Planet of the Apes and many spin offs. I didn't want this concept to be confused with it, but it seems it's inevitable when it comes to this concept. My original design is an ape-like society, but they aren't really apes. More of these black eyed, pointy eared creatures that have ape-like qualities.

 

These characters where created in al.chemy.org to generate ideas for characters I normanlly wouldn't come up with. As this series progressed, they become a strange bat eared monkey-like race that I have been continuing to develop.
