This was a design produced to help try and secure funding for a low budget horror film set in New Zealand. The plot revolved around the end of term party and based in a closed location in a halls of residence being invaded by vampires. 

The poster tries to imitate the Drew Struzan style of showing key characters and scenes from the film in a form of montage. As there were no actors cast or scenes filmed there are some generic vampire shots and a few key moment beats from the film as described in the script and the treatment that I was privy to. The burning couch for example is a tradition in New Zealand Universities and becoems a key factor in the film. Or at least so I am told. 

 

The final version of the poster was given the now traditional 'aged paper' treatment to make it look like and old lost VHS relic that had been stored away in the back of lost rental shop and possibly forgotten by many but treasured by a few.
