Starting from the basic principle of digitization / automation, I've started to explore the most easily recognized digital representation of the digital world — the “e-“ — presented in our daily routines, constantly through e-mails and other digital products. Also decided to explore this concept by playing with the name of the city — Esposende, Portugal — thus resulting in the name “e-sposende, smartcity”.
In order to reinforce the whole concept, a whole visual system was created based on a mosaic of stylized icons, taking us to the key areas of this project and the geographic features of the city. These allow us to envision nature, the ocean, the beach, renewable energies and technology. This dynamic system allows us to explore the branded collateral in a creative and joyful way.
