Master Bugio, the guardian of Wisdom, disappears into the ocean after the Great War of Gifts.
On a remote island held sacred by the cult of Simmion, a young human discovers a magical staff and is forced to leave his home and travel hundreds of miles in search of the magical item's mysterious owner and his wisdom. As he travels, he becomes more and more interested in the history of Simmion Island and the secrets that have been buried for so long.
