This is my college final project. 'Ringkes Sora Pinuh Harti' is the title I chose for this book. In Indonesian language, it means 'singkat bunyi, sarat makna' or 'short word comes with great meaning'. It tells about Paribasa Sunda (Sundanese Proverb) and its implementation in modern day of urban people in West Java, Indonesia.
Reintroducing The Parity And Unity Value In Sundanese Proverb Through Digital Illustration Book
Proverb is one of the traditional phrase that always keep up to the norms and consuedates of the existing Sundanese hereditarily, which thrives in the Priangan region. Noble values contained in the Sundanese proverb always tend to be obeyed and accepted as a guideline and strengthen the moral and social values. However, the influence of foreign cultures resulted in a shift in the pattern of life of the Sundanese people in general, which are now no longer uphold their traditional identity. Family as the smallest environment couldn't be a facilitator in the inheritance of this oral tradition nowadays. In this case, this digital illustrated book project contains information and education about Sundanese proverb and discuss its implementation either literally or implied, and reserved for late teenagers in the Priangan region as the next generation of the oral tradition. It is intended to familiarize the pronunciation of Sundanese proverb among teenagers and maintained the inheritance of the Priangan oral tradition.
I'm using caricature style for the characters of this book to support the concept of this issue, and maintain the aspects of 'comedy', 'morality value', and unique social style of Sundanese people.
The format itself is desktop software application. So it's easy for any OS to operate it even with the standard specifications.
