The Amazing Circus Impossible
Circus to me is a magical place.
The impossible becomes possible. Artists are pushing the boundaries of what is humanly doable.
This kind of excellence triggers many levels of the viewer’s curiosity.
When circus artists as well as visual artists (like us photographers) play with the unfamiliar, the unexplained, with strong emotions like fear, excitement and wonder, people are more likely to be curious and reflective about things that are relevant to their own lives or experiences.

Provoking a process like this, is also a motivating factor creating my images.
I take my hat off to all the circus performers, risk takers and creatives giving us a wonderful spectacle every time they are stepping into the ring. Circus is, and always will be, a mesmerizing world.
