The detailed concept of the house in Biryulevo was inspired by the winning project of the “Progress” team in the “Image of Renovation” competition, organized by Moskomarhitektura in 2021. The motto of our project was the epigraph: “The future of high-rise housing, where every house is unique”.
Then, in the contest work we used a neural network, which created an infinite number of facade solutions, using the alphabet of the prefabricated wall panels. The purpose of this technique was to create a so-called ” Nature composition “, which we see in the non-human world around us. Leaves against the sky, clouds, snow on a mountain slope – all these are examples of one-of-a-kind abstract works in an endless art gallery of nature.
In the facades of the house in Biryulevo apply three artistic techniques:
The facade planes are dotted with prismatic aluminum cassettes coated with a pearlized paint. All together they are designed to give rise to a large surface of spectacular color stretching, reminiscent of the colors of the sky.
The air conditioning baskets and balconies are designed in such a way as to create an effect of displacement relative to the vertical plane. They seem to sprout out of the facade, soaring above its surface.
The baskets and balconies form an abstract composition on the strict rectangle of the facade. They are arranged as if randomly, yet in a natural and harmonious way.
An unusual feature of the project is that the balconies are distributed randomly throughout the rooms of the apartments. If the future owner of the apartment will have the choice between several variants with the same layout, it is possible to give the preference to the variant with the more appropriate location of the balcony. For example, in the kitchen. Or in the bedroom. In this solution we don’t see a potential problem if the balconies of different apartments are next to each other. Let’s live in friendship!
