I was commissioned by a Star Wars fan to design a Ahsoka Tano tattoo for him. The brief was simple, to incorporate Ahsoka and her famous phrase "I am no Jedi" in Aurebesh (Writing system in Star Wars universe) and lastly, if possible, to include Captain Rexto in the design.

So we decided to go for something for symbolism instead of just having the characters portraits. The idea was Ahsoka & Captain is a big part of the rebellion, so the rebel alliance symbol will be a big part of the design. Ahsoka's lekku (hair) and her fulcrum symbol, Rex's helmet design and the tally marks are also incorporated onto the Rebel symbol.
