EXTERIOR. Terrace Villa elevated above the flood plains of California. The building is characterized by its rectangular forms, with spaces that continue out into the landscaping. All metal structures should have been finished in a dark color.
The arrival to the Terrace House wanders through the long central courtyard garden of the home. The general atmosphere is calm and welcoming.

Eye-catching combination of shapes, textures, lighting, shadows, colors and tones creats the image's atmosphere and clearly transmit an architect's message.
The architecture allows the trees and gardens of the site to spill up into the living platform of the home. Therefore the boundaries between inside and outside are blurred.
