This personal project started as a personal challenge to develop my first ever Sub-D Alias model, why not choosing Ferrari to push the limit of surfacing in sub-division modeling. My idea was to imagine the next generation of the GTC4 Lusso, a 2+2 Shooting brake V12 Hybrid.

First research sketches, getting inspirations from multiple objects, starting from the Daytona Shooting Brake's simplicity and beauty, the 365 GTC "dropping beltline" as I call the dynamic closing shape of the rear end of some vehicles. Giving a very dynamic and elegant closing to the rear, sharing also the same concept with yacht design, as in the Riva Acquarama, and why not getting some influence from the beautiful and simple surfacing of yachts.

First renders before 3D development - a more define direction, applying Ferrari's design language into a 2+2 Shooting brake, headlights consist of slim strip of light inside the "cofango" that is modeled around them, creating a beautiful surfacing to sculpt the correct housing and air-intake. The actual modules will be hidden underneath, into the lower air vents.
