A sister outpost of Otway Restaurant, Otway Bakery is a neighborhood bakery based in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Born out of a hugely successful pandemic pop-up, Otway Bakery carries the best and freshest pastries baked daily at 5am. The color palette was inspired by details unique to the owner and space; the navy blue from a favorite chore jacket, deep green from a love of plants, peach and warm white from baking ingredients. The custom hand lettered script wordmark is a modern take on classic bakery signage. The branding is complimented with patterning that draws inspiration from fingerprint marks in dough.
