Almost every photo I use is from personal stock. I have an extensive library of random pictures and textures just for photo-manipulation. I find I have more care for the subject when I take the picture as well as more control. I am not a professional photographer so I spend a lot of time experimenting with exposure, lighting and angles. Thankfully, SD cards can hold a ton of pictures.
