трусы (trusy) is a Russian word that can be translated in different ways depending on stress. If the stress is on the second syllable the meaning is underpants. If on the first syllable then is cowards.
The project had made at the beginning of 2021 in connection with the arrest of Alexei Navalny after he returned to Russia after his poisoning by secret agents using his underpants. Profit from sold T-shirts with this double-meaning ward was donated to human rights organizations that help several thousand people who were arrested during protests against his arrest.
I've decided to update the project with new images to remind us of political prisoners in Russia. The images show AI-generated characters placed in an abnormal abusive atmosphere fulfilled with bugs and oddities of the current regime's symbols. They try to be worthy in this atmosphere where AI characters and even more so real people not should be, and the situations that should never happen in usual life.
