Creation of Jake
Version 3:
After trying out some designs and exploring some online, i came up with this. Took understanding from how to make the texture of the cloth online, but did it terribly. The shape of the body was quite…no it was weird. And i had zero idea on how to fix it. At that moment, all that existed was levitating purple scalene triangle.
Version 4 :
After 2 - 3 years of nothing, i set my way of trying to draw a cat. Definitely polished my design style learning that. With that new set of ideas, had another attempt to make jake more lively, rather than a floating bob.
First i cut of the levitating idea, seemed cool when i was 15 but, not so much now when it came to designing. The only thing preserved is the robe, which i may kill of very very soon for some leathery kinda pants or something else that seems cool, anything that creates good contrast between the torso, legs and whatever the background is.
Playing a lot of escapist on my phone definitely made me go towards this kind of design. A lot of room for improvement. Working with more pixels probably a good solution, using my head properly also a good solution
