Brief: Redesign 3 book covers to create a series.
Concept: The News: for this cover I used images of children (to represent naivety) and replaced there faces with white noise. This represents how when we watch the news, we have been programmed to digest it all, without questioning or thinking for ourselves. The explosion on the tracing paper cover shows how we watch disasters from all over the world, yet we are disconnected, without any realy relations to what's happening.
Natural Herbal Remedies: Here I illustrate the juxtaposition between old world medicine and that of herbal remedies. The scary looking figure on the cover is meant to show how un-natural medicines are. Whilst the tracing paper cover shows a lovely pattern of vibrant herbal cures.
Happiness Hypothesis: The books main theme is a metaphor of the Elephant and rider as one, so that is what I've shown. The rider being in a suit (success). The flowers represent peace and tranquility.
